Silverbeet Wraps

A super easy low carb, whole-food substitute for regular wraps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch of silverbeet with large leaves

Wrap fillings

  • avocado
  • sauerkraut
  • tomato
  • cucumber
  • pickles
  • beans
  • chicken
  • leftovers
  • mayo
  • sauce
  • nutritional yeast etc…

Instructions
 

  • Take a silverbeet leaf, cut off the stalk (save the stalks - they are delicious roasted or in stir-fries).
    1 bunch of silverbeet
  • Place the leaf, shiny side down, with the top of the leaf nearest to you, on a flat surface and place the filling in the centre, as you would with a wrap, leaving a small gap at the bottom (the top of the leaf) to fold it over.
  • Fold the bottom of your wrap over the filling, then tightly fold over one side at a time. You may like to tie them with kitchen string or wrap and eat as you go.
